I don’t know what it says about our voyeuristic habits that we spend a lot of time looking at what others buy. We have been known to follow folks around just to get a good look at the awful things they put in their carts. Sometimes we try and take photos, but it is hard to come up with an explanation for that (FYI, saying that your camera “just went off” and looking innocent does not work). With that in mind, I want you to take a good look at the following item:
We stood there for at least a full minute while a “savvy” shopper debated adding this to their cart of horrors. Luckily, she came to her senses and put it back, allowing us to get this photo and a lovely closeup to go with it.
What were we thinking to decorate our homes like this? Would green be your first choice for the pillow on this bed? I know, you wouldn’t have the bed in the first place. Here is a nice photo from the book that will surely inspire you to redo your bedroom.
And lucky for all those folks who desire to use these ideas in their personal decorating scheme, with just a bit of searching, you can still find the proper fabric. This was just the next aisle from the books. They must have come from the same closet.
Moving on. (Quickly please, no more puns!) We will be starting our Holiday Horror posts this next week. Just as a sneak preview, we have this lovely couple of Christmas rabbits? Nothing says Christmas like a good bunny pair.
I am positive they are not the worst thing I’ve seen, but in general, they bug me a bit, and I just can’t think of the holiday decor that they would improve with their presence. A closeup, just in case they don’t annoy you from farther away.
Brace yourself for the holiday season!!! We have a dazzling array of Holiday Horrors to give you a good laugh, and cheer you on your way. Till next time.
